If you’re one of those who want to own a PlayStation 5, then now’s your chance. PlayStation has partnered with Red Bull to determine who’s the best in the US when it comes to in-game photography. The competition is dubbed as Red Bull Capture Point with the top creators getting their hands on a PS5 unit with accessories. Now if you already have a PS5, what’s the harm in having two, right?
How to Join
So how do you join this competition? Beginning February 1 and all the way to May 2, users can submit and take photos on these PS titles:
- Demon’s Souls (PlayStation Studios).
- Ghost of Tsushima (Sucker Punch Productions).
- God of War (Santa Monica Studio).
- Horizon Zero Dawn (Guerrilla).
- The Last of Us Part II (Naughty Dog).
Players can submit a maximum of 18 in-game photos using the in-game mode and Share button of each title. Each submission has to be taken directly from the console and then uploaded to Twitter. Be sure to use these hashtags:
- #RedBullCapturePoint
- #Contest
What to Win
In May, each submission is then curated and judged by a committee composed of developers, from each of the game’s studios, along with the top video game creatives. The top pieces for each category are later showcased in a digital art gallery where the Best in Show winners are also going to be announced.
Each Category Winner gets to receive these prizes:
- PS5 console and various accessories.
- One PlayStation 5 Console (with Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc Drive).
- One DualSense Wireless Controller.
- One DualSense Charging Station.
- One Pulse 3D Headset.
- One 12-month PlayStation Plus Subscription.
- One 12-month PlayStation Now Subscription.
- Unlock one copy of five yet to be released PlayStation Studio Games upon release.
- Red Bull Trophy.
- Advancement to Best of Show competition at the Capture Point Digital Gallery Experience.
- Approximate Retail Value: $1300.

Additional Promotion
Aside from the competition, players also have the chance to get activation codes that can unlock PlayStation Network avatars. This can be done by buying Red Bull cans in participating Walmart and 7-Eleven stores. The avatars feature characters from selected PS titles and are drawn in the classic cartoon style.
