The Group Stage of the PUBG Global Championship 2019 is all set to start this weekend. Matches begin on November 8 and end on November 10. Matches are going to be held at the OGN Super Arena in Manhattan Beach, CA.
The Semifinals are also going to be at the OGN Super Arena on November 15 to 17. The Grand Finals are scheduled for November 23 to 24, and will be held at the Oakland Arena in Oakland, CA.
For fans, it's not all about watching the battle as PUBG is offering exclusive in-game items. PC and console players can celebrate and gear up for the upcoming tournament by buying a wide range of exclusive in-game items beginning on November 6 and up until November 26. Items available include a PGC 2019 Clothing Set, Combat Set, M416 Weapon Skin, Dacia Skin, and Victory Dance Emote.
Any earnings from the sale of these in-game items are going to be shared in this manner:
- 50% amongst participating teams throughout the competition
- 25% to the guaranteed $2 million-dollar prize pool
- 25% to be shared with teams through the PGC Pick’Em Challenge Event
PGC Pick’Em Challenge Event
This event starts November 6 and ends November 22 and introduces a way for fans to predict the tournament winners and get exclusive rewards for guessing correctly.
Participating PC players also receive an in-game Team Selection Coupon for every initial purchase of an item. Players can also obtain a single Team Selection Coupon by finishing in the top 10 of any public match.
Coupons can be redeemed for an opportunity to predict the winning team, and those who guess correctly receive an exclusive PGC 2019 Weapon Skin Set that is not obtainable anywhere else. The set includes skins for the AKM, SCAR-L, Mini 14, Kar98k, and Pan.
