PUBG Mobile's latest Patch 0.13.0 adds Team Deathmatch mode to EvoGround. Team Deathmatch allows players to play in 4v4 matches. This mode features fast-paced firefights, both in first-person perspective and third-person perspective. The mode also gives players the ability to create their own rooms using room cards.
This update is rather large, with a download size of 2.45 GB for iOS and 1.98 GB for the Android.
Even with the rather large size requirement, players are sure to love the Godzilla theme. No, the King of Monsters won't be part of the battle, but players get a Godzilla themed lobby background along with many themed events and rewards.
The update also brings with it the Charisma Ranking. Players who are able to collect any permanent outfits and firearm/vehicle finishes get the chance to increase their Charisma. In addition, a popularity gift and ranking reward has been added as well. At the end of each week, the top 100 players in the list may collect the title for All-time Popularity or Recent Popularity.
Another interesting feature added in 0.13.0 is the MVP showcase system that is featured at the end of each match. Who gets to be featured in the MVP Showcase? Well, it is the top 3 players in Classic mode or the MVP of the winning squad in Team Deathmatch. Just to make things easy, all players are given a default MVP pose.
Patch 0.13.0 made changes as well to Survive Till Dawn and Darkest Night, which include:
- The old zombies have been replaced by four new types of zombies
- Liquid Nitrogen Grenades now leave behind a cloud of freezing smoke on the ground for a long period after explosion, reducing the movement speed of any unit in the area
- Added new mode combat modifiers
- Certain zombies now have new abilities: Tanks will empower nearby allies; Skinners can slow nearby players
- A new factory has replaced the police station
There are also inventory improvements done:
- Players can now combine items in batches
- Equipped items will be displayed on top
- Duplicated new items will no longer be indicated by a red dot and the "new" tag
- The Backpack and Helmet tabs have been moved to the Customization tab
