Social Campaigns Update
Back in early July, PUBG Mobile launched its #PUBGMPlayAsOne campaign to help Direct Relief with its COVID-19 global response project of supplying medical aid to frontline healthcare workers. This campaign has resulted in PUBG Mobile raising and donating $2 million. While the in-game campaign has indeed ended, players and community members can still donate directly to Direct Relief here.
In addition, PUBG Mobile also hosted its Global Extreme Challenge. This initiative had the objective of bringing positivity and encouragement to the world in gaming ways. To make this happen, celebrities, professional athletes, influencers, and star gamers from around the world were invited to an online show match that was broadcast last July 30.
Scout of Fnatic led his team into winning the South Asia leg of the show match. Meanwhile in Southeast Asia, it was the team led by Indonesian actor and TV presenter Gading who took home the crown. Over in South America, professional footballer Paulo Dybala and his team got the championship. Finally for the North America and Europe champion, it was the team of Kevin de Bruyne that took first place.
