The North American League matches between TSM and DarkZero have concluded. The matches were played in a best of five series.
The first map of the series was Theme Park. TSM on attack looked really strong, as they won four consecutive rounds thanks to Bryan "Merc" Wrzek fragging out DZ. The first half went 4-2 in the favor of TSM, despite the map being defender-sided. When TSM switched to defense, they played even more aggressively that caught DZ off-guard. TSM won the map with a 7-4 scoreline. Matthew "Achieved" Solomon had 10 kills while the other players followed with just one kill lower than him.
The second map, Consulate, was fun to watch. DZ started out strong and won three rounds successively. But on Round 4, TSM's Braden "Chala" Davenport clutched an insane 1v2 post-plant situation. The bomb was planted by the garage breach, and DZ had no information on where Chala was located. So, Chala managed to swing as DZ tried to defuse the bomb, which gave Chala a double kill. DZ still managed to win the second map with a 7-4 scoreline.
The third map, Coastline, went in favor of TSM. TSM, as a frag-heavy roster, broke their way through to DZ's lineup. They won Coastline with a 7-5 scoreline featuring Jason "Beaulo" Doty carrying TSM with 14 frags.
The final match was played on Clubhouse. DZ started effectively after fragging out TSM, which had a hard time countering them. However, Chala replied in kind using support operators like Smoke and Castle. This gave TSM the idea of switching Chala to entry fragger - a surprise to viewers. Chala carried TSM to victory with 23 kills after taking the unexpected role. This led TSM to win the series with an 8-6 scoreline on the final map.
