It’s been quite a while since we got any major news about Rainbow Six: Quarantine, other than the possible name-change and the unfortunate delay. The game is still supposed to come out this September and many players are getting invited to play the closed beta. So, it makes sense that the major development of the game is complete.
There is also a new leak online claiming to know the actual system requirements of the game. Keep in mind that even if the leak is true, the game is still in development and there is a good chance that requirements may change.
The leak requirements show that you won’t need a killer PC to run the game. You just need AMD Ryzen 3 1200 or Intel i5-4460 paired with either AMD Radeon R9 290X or Nvidia GeForce GTX 960, with both GPUs having at least 4 GB of VRAM. These requirements are for 1080p at 30 FPS with the lowest graphics setting.
If you want to play the game at 1080p, 60FPS at higher graphics settings, then you will need a better PC. For CPU, you need AMD Ryzen 5 1500X or Intel i7-4790K. For GPU, you need either AMD Radeon RX 580 or Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660Ti. Additional details, such as OS version, storage space, and RAM, are listed below:
Minimum specs (30FPS at 1080p, preset setting on Low):
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 1200 or Intel i5-4460
- GPU: Radeon R9 290X 4GB or Nvidia GTX 960 4GB
