Rainbow Six Siege is going free-to-play this weekend, again. If you haven’t tried the best tactical shooter of the past 10 years, then here’s your chance. You can play Rainbow Six Siege for absolutely no cost from June 11 to June 15. The free weekend is available on all platforms.
You will be able to access almost the entire game in the free period. You can play on all of the maps and try out all the different modes that Siege has to offer. The original 20 operators will be unlocked, but you will have to buy the DLC operators with in-game currency called Renown. You can earn Renown by playing the game, or buy Renown outright with real money.
If you want to get the most benefit of the free weekend, then you should download the game right now. Ubisoft has allowed players to pre-load the game so you won’t waste any time downloading it over the weekend.
That’s not all, as Ubisoft is also giving away a five-piece Thermite Outfit for The Division 2. If you play Siege during the weekend then you will have access to the skin. You will get the skin even if you played Rainbow Six before or have already owned the game.
This is the perfect time for you to try out Siege. The new season for the game is just around the corner. Year 5 Season 2: Operation Steel Wave will release on the main build of the game within a week or two. You can play the new Season on the Test Server on PC if you already own Siege.
Steel Wave will bring a rework of the casual map House and two brand new Operators, Ace and Melusi. Ace is a hard breacher that can destroy reinforced walls and Melusi is a defending operator who can slow down enemies. I already hate Melusi now, knowing how impactful the new Operator will be on the overall meta of Siege.
So what do you think? Are you interested in the free weekend? Will you be playing Rainbow Six Siege just for the The Division 2 outfit? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
