Rainbow Six Siege's APAC North Mini Major Stage 2 concluded its Quarterfinals. The matches were played online because of COVID-19. The event showcased some exciting matches with the quarter-finals played in a best of three format. Several areas were highlighted in plays. It might help you make new strategies for your games.
The second map was Consulate - an attacker-sided map. Consulate was played out in a similar fashion when compared to the Kafe match. But this time, both teams displayed creative schemes.
The first attacking round from Xavier was quite standard until it came down to execution. Xavier's DCH managed to push into Visa stairs while the rest got busy in the Garage and yellow stairs. DCH’s effort resulted in two kills. That distracted the enemy team and allowed the rest to take control of the site and win it. The impact from all Xavier players would result in more round wins.
From round two and onward, FAV changed their playstyle entirely. They started to play more aggressively by spawn killing and rushing the enemies. This playstyle got FAV a few rounds, though Xavier had better fraggers. Xavier’s defensive hold on the Lobby site was the highlight of the game. We saw Mute playing yellow stairs and picking up three kills. Mute killed the yellow window rappel and the CEO site player. This happened because FAV had no intel on Xavier. Xavier won the second map with a 7-3 scoreline and qualified for the upper bracket finals. They would compete against the winning team from the other bracket.
