This week in Red Dead Online, everyone is invited to show if they have the right mix of skill, finesse, and of course, reckless abandon, all in the rush to reach the finish line. That’s right, there are some new races to enjoy.
As mentioned last week, eight new races are to be released and they’re all playable right now. These include Point-to-Point, Lap, and Open races, which are actually variants of the game’s classic races. You can also try your chances in the Target and Open Target races. That’s pretty much what they’ve revealed so far. You’ll need to log in to the game to see all eight races.
Furthermore, all Races this week continue to hand out 3X RDO$ and XP. Like last week, those who get in the Top 3 earn an offer for 40% off any saddle. Finishing any of the new races also rewards players with an offer good for half-off the Improved Bow and 20 arrows.
Other Offers
For this week as well, it’s the last chance for those who want to get the Fanned Stovepipe Hat, Eberhart Coat, Macbay Jacket, Chambliss Corset, and Danube Outfit at the Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Catalogue.
Discounts offered this week aren’t a lot as well. All racehorse breeds continue to be offered at a 30% discount while it’s still 40% off for saddlebags, stirrups, outfits, and the Bow. The Evans Repeater is also available at 50% off.
Prime Gaming
For this week as well, players who connect their Rockstar Games Social Club to Prime Gaming receive rewards for a Free Bounty Hunter License and a Free Trimmed Amethyst Bounty Wagon Livery.
Players who connect to Prime Gaming before June 7 will get offers for half-off the Advanced Camera along with select outfits up to Rank 15. There are rewards of 5 Blending Tonics and 5 Legendary Animal Pheromones as well.
If you’re wondering why this is a lean update, it’s probably because of the upcoming summer update. For this one, players can expect some new missions, especially for those who want to dive into the criminal underworld.
