Red Dead Online isn’t all about gunfights or going after bounties. There’s also the business side of things with the Trader profession. For this week, enterprising capitalists get to earn an extra with Trader Sell Missions, paying out twice the RDO$ until May 17. That’s not all since completing any Trader Sale this week gives players offers for 40% off a Novice or Promising Trader item and any Camp Dog.
Traders who are brave enough to hold off armed robbers in the Trade Route Free Roam Event get Character and Role XP. For this week as well, players able to clear out Gang Hideouts receive double the usual XP.
There’s also good news for any wannabe treasure hunter. Buying a Pamphlet anytime this week will give players the San Luis Shore Treasure Map, a sure guide to hidden treasures. As if to entice players, all Pamphlets unrelated to Roles are being offered at a 30% discount.
Pamphlets aren’t the only thing being offered at reduced prices this week. The Butcher’s Table, for example, is available at five Gold Bars off. Other discounts this week are:
- Trade Role Outfits (30% off)
- Deluxe Campfire (30% off)
- Kladruber Horses (40% off)
- Camp Themes (40% off)
- Tents (40% off)
- Hunting Wagon (40% off)
With discounts out of the way, we move on over to Prime Gaming. This week, members get offers for half off the Advanced Camera and select Outfits up to Rank 15, and Rewards of five Blending Tonics and five Legendary Animal Pheromones. If you haven’t connected your Rockstar Games Social Club to Prime Gaming, then do so this week and get a Free Bounty Hunter License and Free Trimmed Amethyst Bounty Wagon Livery.
That’s pretty much it. While the Trader bonuses are really good, there’s no question that the update is again a bit lean. What do you think? Satisfied with this week’s update?
Red Dead Online was initially released as the online component of Red Dead Redemption 2. It was later launched as a standalone game by 2020. The game is available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia.
