There is no denying that Red Dead Redemption 2 had tons of content, however it could have had a little bit more. Rockstar previously confirmed that over five hours of content was removed from the game because it didn’t live up to the developer’s expectations. We didn’t know what content was removed and to which character it was related to, until now.

In an interview with GameSpot, Arthur Morgan voice actor Roger Clack gave us an insight about the cut content. According to him, there was a mission that involved Arthur and Dutch. This mission also had an action sequence where you had to kill some bounty hunters that were on top of a train. Unfortunately, this mission didn’t make it to the final game. It was probably the right choice, as we know how high-quality RDR2's content was. If the devs didn’t think that mission was good then it probably wasn’t.

Benjamin Byron Davis, the voice actor of Dutch Van Der Linde, also told GameSpot about how excited he was about the game. “The first one was such an amazing experience, and in a lot of ways, it was a dream come true because I had been a gamer and I had a sense that actors were part of how these things were put together and I thought it looked like a good gig,” he said. “But I didn't really realize when we were doing the first one how amazing it was going to be. I didn't understand the full scope of Dutch as a character.”

Davis also talked about how his character’s role expanded this time around. In the first game, he worked for six months which included voice and performance capture. However, in RDR2, he did more work in the first week than he did for the entire original game.

“So I booked the job, and when I finally signed the contracts and they sent me the first 100 pages of the script that I had to memorize, I was both excited--I had to get to work--but then I also became a bit intimidated because I was so proud of the first one,” he said.

So what do you think? Do you want to know more about the cut content? Do you want some of the cut missions to be released later? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
