PlayStation 5 owners have tons of games to play right now, and the list is just going to increase over time. Some games are massive AAA titles like Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Demon’s Soul (2020), while others are some small indie titles.
During the Sony CES 2021 Press Event, the company revealed the release window of four indie games. All of these were previously announced in the 2020 Sony Event. Keep in mind they are timed-console exclusives, which means they will release on other platforms after a specific period.
The list of games along with their new release window is mentioned below:
- Kena: Bridge of Spirits – March 2021
- Solar Ash – June 2021
- Little Devil Inside – July 2021
- Stray – October 2021
All four games will be available on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The PC version of these games has also been confirmed and set alongside the PS release. Owners of Xbox One and Nintendo Switch should not worry because respective game versions were announced.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Solar Ash, and Stray are also timed-console exclusives but we don’t know for how long. Kena and Solar Ash are, however, listed on Epic Games Store, so it’s safe to assume that both games will be exclusive to EGS for a while. If you’re on Steam, the release date is probably far away.
After the timed-exclusivity deal ends, you can expect an Xbox release, or who knows, maybe a Switch version may come out too.
That’s not all, Sony’s event also showed the release window of several other titles. Bethesda’s GhostWire: Tokyo, Capcom’s Pragmata, and Square Enix’s Project Athia got a rough release window. You can watch the entire Sony CES 2021 Event over here.
