The McLaren 570S is speeding its way back to Rocket League. This is the first time that the model arrives since the game became free to play. It’s also going to be offered in silver and available starting today, May 27. The thing though is that it’s not staying for long, only until June 2.
To celebrate this occasion, everyone can get the McLaren Avatar Border for free.
Players can get the 570S through the McLaren 570S Pack, which comes with other goodies. For those who already have this supercar in their garage, they can still buy the pack without the 570S for fewer Credits.

Cross-Platform
Early this week, the team at Rocket League announced that all Premium DLC items bought before the game became free-to-play now support cross-platform. This means players on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox can use Premium DLC Packs across platforms.
To access the licensed content on multiple platforms, just follow these two steps:
- Players need to link their accounts on different platforms through their Epic Games account.
- Those who already have their accounts linked can skip this step.
- Once the platform accounts are linked, players need to log into the platform where they have the licensed items.
- This only needs to be done once.
- It’s an important step to allow PsyNet to link which platform account the DLC is located to the other accounts.
The team also reminded players that some content won’t be available for cross-platform, including:

- Sweet Tooth
- Hogsticker
- Armadillo
- Mario and Luigi NSR
- Samus' Gunship
- Ultimate Edition On-Disc DLC:
- Batman/DC Superheroes Pack
For those wondering why the Nintendo Switch was mentioned, the team explained that cross-platform is still not available for the console. While these players can use Premium DLC on other platforms, those who own on Switch can’t use them elsewhere.
