Rocket League recently received a new update that made changes to the dropdown menu in chat, added new settings to enable or disable player-to-player trading, and included bug fixes. The update is available to download on Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Steam, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
Text Chat Changes
In this update, developers have split the Text Chat into three dropdown menus: Quick Chat, Match Chat, and Party Chat. This allows players to control who they specifically want to talk to across different chat types. If your account is under parental supervision, then you might not see all the options.
Player-To-Player Trading
Developers have introduced new settings, so players can enable and disable player-to-player trading. If you like trading items, keeping it enabled will give you requests from the community. If not, just disable it for a hassle-free experience. You can find this under Settings > Interface.
