Samsung has announced a new color option for the recently released Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, Pink Gold. The color option will be available in Korea starting April 20 and will also be available in select markets “soon.” There is no word on whether the Pink Gold Galaxy S7 will be available in the U.S.
The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy Edge are currently available in Black Onyx, Gold Platinum and White Pearl. A Silver Titanium color option is an exclusive to the Galaxy S7 Edge. The White Pearl model is currently not available in the U.S., having been aimed at international markets.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 features a 5.1-inch flat Quad HD display, while the Galaxy S7 Edge features a 5.5-inch curved display. Both models feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage as well as a 12-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera. The Galaxy S7 features a 3,000mAh battery, while the Galaxy S7 Edge features a 3,600mAh battery.
Both handsets are water resistant with an IP68 rating, and include expandable storage and a front facing fingerprint sensor. They both ship with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
