Samsung is expected to announce its Galaxy Tab S3 premium tablet at Mobile World Congress in February, on lieu of the Galaxy S8. The tablet is expected to be showcased at MWC after its predecessor released more than a year and a half ago.
The Korean publication Naver recently shared a set of prospective specs for the tablet, which indicate it will have an ultra-thin frame and will run Android 7.0 Nougat.
The Galaxy Tab S3 may include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip, a 9.6-inch 2048x1536 display, 4GB of RAM and 12-megapixel main camera and 5-megapixel front camera. The tablet is expected to come in LTE and Wi-Fi-only and be 5.6mm in thickness, making it thinner than the Galaxy Tab S2. At this time, Samsung has not confirmed any details about the device.
The Galaxy Tab S3 will likely be announced Feb. 26 and release sometime in March for about $600.
The tablet was also recently spotted in a listing for the Federal Communications Commission for cellular use certification in the U.S. This is a good indication the Galaxy Tab S3 will soon release.
