The September 2019 monthly Humble Bundle has been announced, showing off Mega Crit Games' hit Slay the Spire, and the Early Access title Squad from Offworld Industries. Humble Monthly subscribers will be able to own both of these titles as as early as now, with the rest of the games included in the September Humble Bundle to be released on September 6.
Arguably the more popular of the September Humble Bundle's Early Unlock titles, Slay the Spire is a rogue-like card battler that emphasizes turn-based strategy with a deep and meaningful progression system. Developed by Mega Crit Games, Slay the Spire is a unique single-player gameplay experience that features dynamic deck-building, procedurally-generated runs, and powerful relics to discover. After being in Early Access for over a year, Slay the Spire officially launched earler this year, and continues to be a popular title on PC, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
The other Early Unlock available through the September Humble Bundle is Offworld Industries' Squad, which is currently in Early Access and available only on PC. According to the official description, Squad aims to bridge the gap between arcade shooters and hardcore military simulations, featuring large open maps with base-building combined arms gameplay with vehicular combat, tied together with an emphasis on tactics and communication enabled by an integrated VoIP system. Squad is still in Early Access, and has been since 2015, but its developers enjoy a massive, and continuously growing community of supportive gamers.
Humble Bundle is a gaming store/service that gives gamers a handpicked selection of games every month for a subscription fee of $12. Last month, the August Humble Bundle had eight games, including Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Surviving Mars, for a total retail price of $166. This September, you can get Squad ($39.99) and Slay The Spire ($24.99), as well as other hand-picked titles for only $12. The Humble Monthly service is enjoyed by millions of gamers around the world, and features subscription pausing, any-time cancellation, and more. Humble subcribers also receive a 20% discount off of Humble Store purchases, as well access to the Humble Trove, a constantly-growing library of DRM-free games that currently includes 95 titles (and more every month). A percentage of Humble's proceeds go to a variety of charities, and since 2010 has contributed over $151 million to causes all over the world.
