Spider-Man: Miles Morales is only one month away. The sequel/spin-off is a launch title for the PlayStation 5, which means it will launch on November 12 in selected countries and on November 19 for the rest of the world. Thanks to Game Informer, we got tons of new information about the game. Its technical aspects, boss fight, suits, and more all are mentioned here.
You can play Miles Morales in 4K at 60 FPS on your PlayStation 5 via Performance Mode. However, it will have some shortcomings. When playing in Performance Mode, the game will not run at true 4K, it will be dynamically upscaled. Performance-heavy features like Ray Tracing will also be replaced by your normal Screen-Space Reflections.
If you are more graphics hungry and don’t care about framerate, then Fidelity Mode is the right option for you. In this mode, Miles Morales will run at true 4K along with Ray Tracing. However, you will only get 30 FPS. So, in the end, it comes down to personal preference. Thanks to the superfast SSD in the PS5, the loading time in Miles Morales will be incredibly short.
Miles Morales is not a proper sequel to Spider-Man (2018). However, it sure acts like one. The game will take place one year after the events of its predecessor. Peter Parker is present in the game, but not as a playable character. He will act as a mentor to Miles.
Miles Morales starts off with a bang. There is some Michael Bay-type action sequences which will also include Rhino. There are going to be tons of bosses in Miles Morales, but not as many as the previous Spider-Man.
A Spider-Man game without cool-looking suits is not a Spider-Man game. Thankfully, Miles Morales will have some great suits for you to wear along with some funny ones as well. Some suits that have been confirmed are the Beginner Suit, Gift Suit, Iconic Suit, Cat Suit, and many more. The Cat Suit comes with a crime-fighting cat that will help you in combat. Yep, you read that right.
