Carrie FIsher was a writer, an actress, a feminist, a mental health advocate and much more. She was more than just her iconic role of Princess Leia from Star Wars, but it was where we all first fell in love with Fisher. Many of her Star Wars costars took to social media to honor Fisher; unfortunately, some couldn’t find the words to express their devastation over the news of her death. Fisher, 60, died on Dec. 27 after suffering a massive heart attack on Dec. 23. Here's what the Star Wars cast had to say about Fisher.

“Carrie was one-of-a-kind…brilliant, original. Funny and emotionally fearless,” Ford said in a statement to TheWrap. “She lived her life, bravely…My thoughts are with her daughter Billie, her mother Debbie, her brother Todd, and her many friends. We will all miss her.”
Peter Mayhew, Chewbacca
There are no words for this loss. Carrie was the brightest light in every room she entered. I will miss her dearly. pic.twitter.com/GgIeYGeMt9

I'm deeply saddened at the news of Carrie's passing. She was a dear friend, whom I greatly respected and admired. The force is dark today!

I thought I had got what I wanted under the tree. I didn't. In spite of so many thoughts and prayers from so many. I am very, very sad.

Many more celebrities and fans of the Star Wars franchise took to Twitter to express their sadness. However, Jeffrey Dean Morgan a.k.a. Negan from The Walking Dead said it best.

Fisher will always be royalty to us. Thank you for giving geek women around the world a heroine to look up to. Thank you for teaching women we are not defined by beauty, but rather our smarts, wit and talents. Thank you for telling the next generation of Star Wars, Daisy Ridley, to fight against "Slave Leia."
“Well, you should fight for your outfit. Don’t be a slave like I was,” Fisher told Ridley while speaking with Interview magazine in October 2015. “You keep fighting against that slave outfit.”
Just thanks. Thank you, Carrie Fisher, for the legacy you’ve left behind.
