Tomorrow, the world celebrates Star War s Day, and that means some interesting things will happen. In Star Wars: The Old Republic, it looks like players are getting an excellent freebie. There are also two events for everyone to enjoy.
As part of the Star Wars Day celebration, players get to have the M4-Y10 Astromech droid mini-pet for free. Now, the Y10 in the name refers to the game celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Overall, the M4-Y10 is inspired by its appearance from The Bad Batch. To get this mini-pet, just play the game between May 4 and May 11.
New Events
The first of two events is the Double XP Event which starts May 4 and lasts until May 18. That means it’s going to be a good time for those who like to grind away.
The second is Relics of the Gree, which is from May 4 to May 11. This one though is only accessible for those who are at least Level 50.
Those able to join the event get to explore the contested area in Ilum to discover more about the Gray Secant, an ancient Gree starship. It’s not going to be easy since there’s a rather strong opponent in the middle of the ship. To get started, those in the Republic must go to the Carrick Station and look for the News Terminal. Imperial players, on the other hand, have to go to the Vaiken Spacedock.
Rewards for this event include:
- Reputation with the Gree Enclave
- Gree Digitization Cube
- White, Red, and Blue Scalene armor
- Gray Helix weapons
- L1-L Defender, L1-L Scout, and Miniature Gray Secant mini-pets
- Cyan Sphere, Blue Sphere, and Red Sphere vehicles
In the Middle of Things
There’s another event in May called Pirate Incursion, starting May 18 and ending May 25. This one is accessible for players at least Level 20.
So what’s going on here? It seems that the planet Dantooine has been put in the middle of the fight between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Motivated by the covert Imperial forces, the Nova Blade pirates managed to launch an attack on the planet. As the Republic does what it can to protect this territory, the Empire is taking advantage of the chaos.

- Ugnaught companion
- Walker mount
- Kath Hound mount
- Kath Hound mini-pet
- Dantooine-inspired stronghold decorations
