The Steel Reign has arrived on Fallout 76 and with it the future of the Brotherhood of Steel. This latest update serves as the conclusion to the two-part questline of the Brotherhood. There are new locations to explore as well as new gear and C.A.M.P. items for everyone to uncover.
Steel Reign continues the story of Steel Dawn where the Appalachian Brotherhood has been broken after the battle at Fort Atlas. The rift between Knight Shin and Paladin Rahmani is increasing while the resources are decreasing. As all of these are happening, reports say that people are starting to go missing along with a rise in attacks by Super Mutants. Players are now faced with the question of choosing between justice or duty.
New Questline
With the new update live, players can expect new tasks with the Steel Reign questline. It starts immediately after the end of Steel Dawn.
The questline is available to those who are at least level 20 and have finished “The Best Defense.” Players who meet those conditions should see the quest titled “A Knights Penance.” It requires players to go to Fort Atlas and talk with Russell Dorsey. Completing the questline rewards players with new items.
New Vendor
This new update also welcomes a Blue Ridge Caravan Merchant to Appalachia. Minerva is more than ready to offer players a selection of item plans in return for Gold Bullion. She arrives in the game through two events which are:
- Minerva’s Emporium
- Runs from Monday to Wednesday.
- Minerva’s Big Sale
- Runs from Thursday to Monday.
- This is a special discount event.
It’s also important to remember that the items offered by Minerva rotate on a regular basis, so be sure to check out what she has every time she drops by. She’s going to set up in one of these settlements: Fort Atlas, Foundation, or The Crater.
One of the items she offers is Gold Bullion Plans, typically available from other Gold Bullion Vendors or by finishing Daily Ops. That’s not all since she’s also offering discounts for them just to get you to buy from her.
