Everyone is invited to take on a new adventure in Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin with the release of the third expansion. Different Future puts focus on Jack and company as they try to reach a city in an alternative time and space guided by the spirit of a moogle, where they will face one last challenge. This new expansion actually serves as the conclusion to the Stranger of Paradise storyline.
This new expansion is available free through the Season Pass, part of the Digital Deluxe Edition. Players can get the Digital Deluxe Upgrade for $30 or the Season Pass at $24.99. The Season Pass gives players access to the first two expansions - Trials of the Dragon King and Wanderer of the Rift.
New content in this expansion includes:
- New Characters and Enemies
- Players are escorted on their journey by the moogle that was first introduced in the Wanderer of the Rift expansion.
- They get to meet the Emperor from the Final Fantasy series.
- New Jobs
- By progressing through the expansion's story missions, players can unlock these jobs:
- Musketeer
- Hunter
- Gambler
- New Gear
- Get ready to see new gear and new firearms.
- New Blacksmith Features
- Players can take advantage of "manikin materials." This allows them to craft and upgrade certain items more easily.
- By using manikin materials, players can also make replicas of equipment and replicate chaos effects.
Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin introduces a bold and new vision to the Final Fantasy series. In the game, Jack and his allies, Ash and Jed, burn with the resolve to defeat Chaos as they throw open the gates to the Chaos Shrine. However, some doubts remain as to whether they are truly the Warriors of Light foretold in the prophecy.
