Street Fighter V: Champion Edition is finally here. Touted to be the most robust version of the fighting game, it's now available for both PlayStation 4 and the PC.

This latest version of Street Fighter 5 comes with all the content of the original release as well as Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition. The only things not included are the Fighting Chance costumes, brand collaboration costumes, and the Capcom Pro Tour DLC. The Champion Edition does add each character, stage, and even other content, that was released after the Arcade Edition and all the way through the launching of this version. In fact, it even includes Seth, which has been added to Street Fighter V as the 40th fighter.

Thus in addition to having 40 characters, Street Fighter V: Champion Edition also has 34 stages and at least 200 costumes. Players can select their favorite character and fight their way through single-player or multiplayer modes created for players of all skill levels. The modes to choose from are, among others, Cinematic Story Mode, Arcade Mode, Team Battle, Ranked Match, and Casual Match.

As mentioned, Seth joins the fight as the latest character of the roster. To help you recall, this move-mimicker was the boss of Street Fighter IV. This fighter had the biological brain of Seth paired with Doll Unit Zero in a continuing quest of getting new data and acquiring moves from the world's best fighters. Seth is released as part of Street Fighter V: Champion Edition. However Street Fighter V players can buy this character separately for $5.99 or 100,000 Fight Money.

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition is rated “T for Teen” and is available both physically and digitally on PlayStation 4 and as a digital download on Steam for $29.99. Those who have any version of Street Fighter V can buy the digital Upgrade Kit for $24.99, which also offers instant access to all unowned Champion Edition content.

Capcom did say that the initial purchase of either Street Fighter V or Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition remains to be the only one that players need to make sure they have the most up-to-date version of the title. All game mode additions and balance updates continue to be free for owners of any Street Fighter V version. In addition, all DLC characters are still earnable completely free of charge by finishing different in-game challenges and receiving earned in-game currency, called Fight Money.
