It’s Xur day, Destiny fans!
After another five days of hibernation, in whatever mysterious pocket of the galaxy the exotic item vendor calls home, Xur has returned to the Tower with a fresh collection of exotic equipment for Destiny players around the globe. Well, “fresh” in the sense that it’s (hopefully) changed since last week. But we suppose it would technically be possible for Xur to return with duplicates of last weekend’s items.
This week, Xur can be found standing in the Hall of Guardians
Last week, Xur’s wares were pretty disappointing for the average Destiny player. For starters, Ruin Wings have been a consistent part of the Agent of the Nine’s inventory ever since debuting in The Dark Below. And few fans are ever happy when Xur shows up to the Tower, or the Reef, without an exotic weapon in his collection. Even if it that extra slot gets filled by a second exotic engram. So, are Xur’s wares any more exciting this weekend?
Here’s everything Xur is selling to the Destiny community Jan. 22-24:
Mk. 44 Stand Asides
- Defense: 280
- Discipline: 43 / 61
- Strength: 43 / 61
- Increases the duration of Should Charge and tighter turn radius while sprinting
- Increases the amount of Sniper Rifle ammunition you can carry
- Increased Agility for 5 seconds after an Arc double kill
Sealed Ahamkara Grasps
- Defense: 280
- Discipline: 31 / 44
- Strength: 29 / 42
- Gain additional melee charge, and melee damage may reload Primary Weapon
- Increased melee attack speed
- Increases the reload speed of Sidearms
The Ram
- Defense: 280
- Strength: 59 / 74
- Gain increased Armor and all Voidwalker melee attacks trigger Life Steal on hit.
- Gain bonus Super energy from melee kills on minions of the Darkness
- Replenish health when you pick up an Orb

As always, Xur has plenty of other goodies for Destiny players to spend their Strange Coins, too. In addition to the exotic wares, the Agent of the Nine is also selling a handful of other curios, including Three of Coins stacks. And Destiny players will also find the usual legendary Sparrows upgrades, with purple and red contrails available this week, along with the usual Motes of Light and Heavy Ammo Synthesis. Glass Needles can also be purchased from Xur this weekend.
