The Kickstarter campaign for Super Hazard Quest is now underway. If you would like to back the project, you can do so right here.
iDigitalTimes had the opportunity to sit down with Ben Famiglietti and Mike Mendizabal, the creators of Super Hazard Quest a few months ago, when decisions for the board game were getting finalized.
“We’re both big nerds. I love board games, and he [Famiglietti] loves video games,” Mendizabal told iDigitalTimes. “That’s why this game works out. He is great at coming up with great concepts and rules and art. I’m helping him with the art.”
Super Hazard Quest looks like it popped right off the screen of an old Nintendo game from the ‘80s. Each player takes control of a common gaming stereotype like the Stealth Ninja, the Kung Fu Champion or the Elf of Legend and must fight through different rooms to get a powerful crystal. This crystal is then used to defeat the final boss of the board game.
The Super Hazard Quest website is now live. You can also follow along with development on the game’s official Facebook page. The estimated delivery time for those who back the Kickstarter is this September.
