While we have known for some time that Super Mario Maker would be featuring additional costumes and bonus characters from other Nintendo games, we now have the videos showing off all of those characters, along with their sound effects and death themes. Buckle up, as there are seven videos to show off all the different options.
To unlock these characters, you can either use your amiibo figures to gain quick access to the specific characters you have amiibo for, or you can unlock them all. To unlock the costumes and bonus characters, players will have to complete the 100 Mario Challenge. Completing this challenge will earn you a random selection from the different options available. If you don't have amiibos, but you want to unlock everything, you're in for playing the 100 Mario Challenge many, many times.
