Team Fortress 2 players can now enjoy the Christmas event that went live just today. The December 6 Update brings the Happy Smissmas 2022, new cosmetics, maps, Unusual effects, and an amazing winter sale. Some minor bugs are squashed as well.
The patch introduces 17 new community-created Unusual effects and eight of these are for Unusual hats and the other nine are for Unusual taunts. The newly-added Winter 2022 Cosmetic Case features 23 new community-contributed items. Players can also find The Festivizer as a bonus drop when opening the case.
The winter sale at Mann Co. Store is now live. The store also contains three new community-contributed taunts; five new community maps are introduced as well. The event will run till January 7.

- All players who play TF2 during the event will receive a Stuffed Stocking as a gift! Stockings contain goodies for good little Mercenaries.
- Featuring 5 new community maps: Frostwatch, Frostcliff, Rumford, Frosty, and Coal Pit
