The new TMNT game has finally been revealed (although we figured it out last month ). World, meet Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants In Manhattan :
The new TMNT game is coming from Platinum Games, a studio that (if you followed our coverage last month you already know) made the smash hit Bayonetta series and the softly-landed Wonderful 101 . But Bayonetta though!
Based on the trailer it looks like Shredder is doing evil Foot Clan shenans accompanied by faithful stooges Bebop and Rocksteady. The art style is already drawing controversy in the YouTube comments ( always a bastion of civility and grace, of course) with some fans digging the retro feel and others miffed it lacks a next-gen sheen. Regardless of the visuals the game looks to be sporting the smash-em-bash-em button brawler style fans are hoping for because there’s an entire generation that wants to play Turtles in Time until the sun explodes.
