Stunlock Studios has a hit on their hands with V Rising. Released via Steam Early Access on May 17, it had 150,000 concurrent users during its first weekend. More than 1 million copies have been sold since the game was launched.
Since the game is still in Early Access, a lot of work needs to be done. The Stunlock Studios team shared in a statement that they’re ready for this new journey. They can’t thank the community enough for being part of the journey. The team went on to say that Early Access is the first step that they’re taking to a full release.
The team also revealed that with the game now in Early Access, the main focus is bug fixes, balancing changes, server optimization, and quality-of-life improvements. After that, they're going to analyze all the data and feedback received during the first weeks to ensure that the master plan moves forward.
The team is also currently working on new material to bring more life to Vardoran. However, the team did admit that improving the game isn't just about adding more content. The entire journey has to be improved if the game is to reach its full potential.
