Rosita has been on a mission since Negan crushed Abraham’s skull in The Walking Dead Season 7 premiere. Now it seems like her bloodlust might lead to her own death.

Negan dropped by Alexandria unannounced once again, but this time everyone can blame Carl for bringing him back. Rosita is the only person in Alexandria that has a gun, unless Spencer is hiding one somewhere else. She has one bullet; if she pulls out her gun and shoots Negan, it’s all over for her.
Rosita has an interesting storyline in the comics. She’s with Abraham until he breaks it off when they get to Alexandria, just like they did in the show. Once Abraham dies, she mourns and eventually gets involved with Eugene. We don’t see a Rosita and Eugene romance happening, as they have more of a brother-sister relationship than anything else. However, in the comics Rosita is killed well after the All Out War storyline, and her head is placed on a spike.
Let’s say Rosita is caught with the gun; we wouldn’t put it past Negan to make an example of her. Alexandria place spikes in front of the gates. What if Negan decides to kill her and leave her head as an example of what he does to people who betray him. Rosita is literally holding Chekhov’s gun this case. We’ve seen the gun, we’ve seen the bullet, so assuming that it’ll go off in The Walking Dead Season 7 episode 8 isn’t a stretch.
Rosita’s death would also come as a surprise to viewers, many of whom are expecting Spencer be the one to die. In the comics, Spencer brings up a proposition to Negan that he violently rejects. They could both lose their lives in the midseason finale.
