A new career has arrived in Warhammer: Vermintide 2. The Sister of the Thorn is now available for Kerillian and it introduced many new features like new abilities, new weapon types, a new talent tree, and new character skin. Players can even try out new challenges. There is also a new hat and new voice lines that you can enjoy.
With this, Kerillian gets to use magic better than ever and no longer needs to pull magical punches when it comes to enemies. The new career is already available for purchase over at Steam though console players need to wait until June 30.
Kerillian is one of the five playable characters in the game and is usually depicted wearing a cloak with her face covered while wielding a Longbow. Currently, she has three career paths. Waystalker is about perfecting her Waywatcher skills and elven archery.
The Handmaiden is about devotion to Isha and mastery of melee combat focused on spears. Finally, the Shade embraces Khaine, the God of War and Murder, which lets her master true stealth.
For the Sister of the Thorn career, features include:

In a statement, Fatshark CEO Martin Wahlund shared that they are more than happy to introduce the third career path. He added that with Sister of the Thorn, players should be able to hold off enemies.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is a co-op action game for four players set in the Warhammer Fantasy Battles world. The game sees five heroes face an even bigger threat because the Chaos army has allied themselves with the Skaven horde.
Features of the game include:
- Team up with up to three friends and fight through endless hordes of enemies.
- Choose between five different characters.
- Each one has three branching careers for everyone to master.
- Players can evolve their skills and climb the difficulty ladders.
- Players start from Recruit to Veteran then to Champion and eventually Legend.
- Customize a unique style of play using 15 different talent trees and more than 50 weapon types.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. A version for the Xbox Series X/S was released in December 2020.
