American Horror Story Season 6 episode 6, which airs at 10 p.m. EDT Wednesday, introduces several new characters, including one that Executive Producer Ryan Murphy describes as the most “fucked up” in the anthology’s history.
AHS alumnae Taissa Farmiga and Finn Wittrock will appear in Roanoke starting in episode 6, with Wittrock playing the season’s notorious character. Currently, there is no word on exactly what the character entails.
Matt Bomer also appears in the latter half of Season 6. His character featured in the Chapter 6 promo and appears to be a part of the crew of the Roanoke documentary, perhaps a producer or director.
Evan Peters made his Season 6 debut in episode 5, as Edward Philippe Mott, the colonial era recluse who had the house built on the haunted land featured on Roanoke. He is ultimately killed by The Butcher and her mob; however, Mott returns as a ghost and is expected to return for episode 6. Murphy told MTV that role is Evan Peters’ “favorite thing he’s ever done.”
Roanoke is expected to take a turn from what we’ve seen so far, as of episode 6. The promo, showing the other side of the documentary filming, may be a clue as to what viewers can expect.
But we will find out during coming episode, called “Chapter 6,” which is best viewed on television or live online through FX Now . The rest of the story unfolds Wednesday when American Horror Story Season 6 episode 6 airs at 10 p.m. EDT on FX.
