American Horror Story Season 6 episode 7, which airs at 10 p.m. EDT Wednesday, brings a change in direction in the current horror anthology, from depicting a documentary to depicting a reality show. Matt, Shelby and Lee barely escaped My Roanoke Nightmare with their lives, but now they’re back in the house for three days during a blood moon for Season 2 of the show within the show.
The My Roanoke Nightmare Season 2 inhabitants include the real Matt and Shelby Miller and Lee Harris, Dominic Banks, Audrey Tindall and Monet Tumusiime, the actors who play them in the documentary and Rory Monahan, who plays Edward Philippe Mott.
We know from episode 6 that the entire cast of the reality show will be dead at the end of the three days, except one person. However, the identity of that person has yet to be revealed. So far, Rory Monahan has been killed by the two nurse ghosts that haunt the home.
Audrey Tindall, who had recently married Monahan, has also seen one of the houses’ ghosts. Prior to this the actors didn’t believe that the Roanoke house wasn’t actually haunted. However, they did not experience the house during the blood moon like the real Matt and Shelby did.
Who will be next to die in My Roanoke Nightmare Season 2? We will find out during coming episode, called “Chapter 7,” which is best viewed on television or live online through FX Now.
The rest of the story unfolds Wednesday when American Horror Story Season 6 episode 7 airs at 10 p.m. EDT on FX.
