The year is almost over so it's time to look forward to what is clearly going to be a good year with World of Tanks. How are we welcoming 2023? Of course, with fun-filled events, specials, and amazing rewards starting January.
Where do we even start? There's Arcade Cabinet: Snowballs and Ice Age from December 30 to January 1, where players are invited to try their hand at snowball fights. To recap, the Snowballs mode is where the shells are turned into lumps of snow. Be sure to leave those snowy splashes on enemy vehicles.
From January 6 to January 8, Ice Age mode joins Snowballs, and the Ice Age mode is all slippery. This means that the mammoth machine will have less traction than usual and can be sent drifting easily. Make use of the slipping and sliding and smash into unlucky opponents.
Here are some in-game events players can expect in January 2023:
- Top of the Tree
- Duration: January 5 to February 5
- Take advantage of credit discounts, missions, and offers with two new Top of the Tree specials.
- Climb the line of speedy German light tanks up to the X Rheinmetall Panzerwagen and the line of Czechoslovakian heavies with autoloading options up to the X Vz. 55.
- Keep It Up!
- Duration: January 6 to January 9
- Get your hands on some easy rewards with simple missions.
- Slip into gear and continue to mercilessly destroy vehicles in battles to bag handy consumables.
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day Extended Weekend
- Duration: January 13 to January 17
- Commemorate the life of one of the 20th century's most prolific activists and the cause he represented.
- Join the event and pick up ×4 XP for the first win.
- Lunar New Year Celebrations
- Duration: Beginning January 13
- Celebrate the Year of the Rabbit with missions, sales, and commemorations.
- There are cool themed customizations, a colorful hangar, and even as much as 50% gold and credit discounts.
- Crew is Crucial
- Duration: January 27 to January 30
- Take on challenging missions to earn extra XP for the crew, valuable consumables, and more.
