It was in February when the 2022 roadmap for World of Warships was first revealed. Since then, some of what was planned have been implemented. But this time, we get to see what to expect for the second half of 2022.

Spring

For spring, the roadmap reveals that Update 0.11.4 introduces the French Cruisers. There are three of them armed with large-caliber guns mounted on their bows. As expected from a French ship, its improved Engine Boost consumable allow it to achieve high speeds.

Spring also sees the return of Arms Race, along with various changes and improvements. It will be introduced in Random and Co-op Battles.

Summer

For summer, the British enter the scene with their warships that have been historically classified as battlecruisers. The ships to be introduced have actually been built in real life.

This part of the year also sees a lot of game events. There's the Sea Battle where players compete against AI. Winning battles result in rewards which include special themed resources like Tokens for Early Access to ships. This event, however, needs players to have Passes to join. These passes can be earned by finishing combat missions.

Another event is the Convoy, first introduced in Update 0.10.8. It’s a 12v12 battle with players using Tier VIII to Tier X ships. The map and routes have been updated so players can look forward to a fun experience.

Fall

By fall, players can expect to see a new map in The Faroe Islands. As of the moment, it’s in the final stages of preparations and will go live with Update 0.11.5.

Fall should be good news for players because of Training Missions aimed at helping new players. These simple missions focus on different game mechanics to help new players master the key principles of the game. It should also allow inexperienced players to get their bearings in the game.
