The next big in-game event for Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links will revolve around one of the most powerful monsters in the game, Exodia.
Beginning March 13 to 21, a Special Duel event will take over Duel Links and will allow every duelist to wield the power of Exodia, The Forbidden One. These Special Duels will become a recurring event in Duel Links with the Exodia event being the first.
During these Special Duels, each duelist will have their skill replaced by the new skill, “Grandpa’s Cards.” This ability will add all five pieces of Exodia into your deck. Duelists will also be able to move up the ranks in PVP to gain more prizes like Gems, Coins and other goodies.

Now, whether this will allow decks in Duel Links to exceed the 30-card limit is not yet known but theoretically a 20-card deck will be changed to a 25-card deck with the added Exodia cards and so forth.
Duel Links’ changes from the 40-card deck format in the real-life TCG to a 20-card deck format, makes it easier than ever to summon Exodia. Expect strategies during this Special Duels event to revolve around drawing and stall tactics to get the five pieces of Exodia in your hand that much faster.

Whether the Exodia cards will be added via the Card Trader or Card Shop is unknown. Perhaps Konami can just add the “Grandpa’s Cards” Skill to the game to make it the only way to put Exodia in your deck.
