EDM producer Zedd is well known for his video game themed mixes, such as “The Legend of Zelda.” Now the DJ is collaborating with League of Legends developer Riot Games to create a theme song for the LoL World Championship Series , which ends next week in Los Angeles, according to Dancing Astronaut.
Both Riot Games and Zedd teased the upcoming song on social media. It is called ‘Ignite’ and will drop Sept. 26, coinciding with the League of Legends World Championship. At this time, there don’t appear to be any sound bites of the song available.
Rumors suggest ‘Ignite’ could also coincide with a third studio album for Zedd, which may drop later this year. Zedd told Billboard in March that he had no plans to release a new album in 2016. However, the artist has released several singles throughout the year, including ‘Candyman’ with Aloe Blacc, ‘Starving’ with Hailee Steinfeld & Grey and ‘True Colors’ with Kesha.
