FX is giving American Horror Story fans a little help in figuring out the Season 6 theme, as well as a little prize incentive. One lucky person who can correctly identify details about Season 6 will win a new car, among other gifts.
FX recently announced a sweepstakes, in which it will give away a 2017 Mercedes Benz 300 Coupe with a custom American Horror Story car kit, along with a trip to the AHS set in Los Angeles. To enter, participants must watch one of six American Horror Story Season 6 trailers and select the one related to the first episode of the anthology.
Keep in mind, the contest does not mention the American Horror Story Season 6 theme, but rather says one of the trailers represents details from the season’s first episode. The show often include several subplots related to, but not necessarily involving, the actual season theme.
FX has released more than 20 trailers for American Horror Story Season 6; however, FX CEO John Landgraf revealed that only one of them coincides with the Season 6 theme. Previously, iDigitalTimes narrowed down two trailers , called “Sunset Stroll” and “The Mist” as possibly being connected to the theme. However, neither of these trailers are listed among those in the contest.
The trailers included in the sweepstakes are “Post Op,” “Lullaby,” “Wind Chimes,” “The Shadow,” “Blind Date” and “Camp Site . ” These clips are also included in a trailer called “Anthology,” which chronicles the AHS themes from Season 1 to Season 5, and also features trailers that may include details about Season 6.
Perhaps all of the trailers relate to aspects of Season 6. We won’t know until Sept. 14, when American Horror Story premieres at 10 p.m. FX will also announce its sweepstakes grand prize winner at that time.
