Apple’s first media event of the year will take place on March 21, reports Buzzfeed News. The event will take place in Cupertino, Calif. at Apple’s Town Hall and will be smaller than last year's event.
“Let us loop you in,” reads the invitation from the company.
The media event will unveil a new, smaller iphone called the iPhone SE, say sources to BuzzFeed News, and also the next generation of the iPad. The new iPhone will reportedly feature a 4-inch display, same processor as the iPhone 6, Touch ID and a an 8-megapixel camera, while being the size of an iPhone 5s. The event will likely debut new Apple Watch bands as well as introducing support for mobile payment service Apple Pay.
The timing of the media event is noteworthy, as it is one day before Apple’s court date with the FBI surrounding the iPhone unlocking of the San Bernardino terrorists.
