Unlike most games nowadays, Atomic Heart was released in a relatively good state. However, it did receive criticism for its lack of accessibility features. It looks like the developer took that criticism to heart as their recent update brings some highly demanded QoL additions.
Patch 1.4.0.0 allows players to tweak HUD and subtitle size. The bug regarding unlocking achievements has been addressed as well. The display of shadows is improved and shaders are updated. Players can now loot corpses lying in the water, and climbing around corners is now better.
