Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster is launching on Nintendo Switch this summer. This game combines Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean, released in 2003, and the prequel Baten Kaitos Origins, launched in 2006. This upcoming title is a remastered version and developed for the modern platform.
Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster offers upgraded graphics and various new features designed to help players progress through the game. Basically, it makes Baten Kaitos easier to play than ever before.
Battle System
The remastered version features a unique battle system that uses special cards called as Magnus. In the world of Baten Kaitos, all items contain Magna Essence which can be stored in special cards and when used, allow the essence of items to return to their original form.
