BioShock: The Collection - How To Unlock Free PC Remaster Upgrade
PC owners of BioShock, BioShock 2 and/or Minerva’s Den will be able to access the remasters for free on Sept. 15, starting at 6 p.m. EDT. If you own any of these titles on Steam, the remastered version will show up in your Steam library as a separate game and you can choose to install either the original or the remastered.
If you don’t already own BioShock on Steam, you’ll have have to provide your Steam profile information and original proof of purchase to 2K Support (as well as a little extra hassle here ). For BioShock 2 , you’ll have to locate the Games for Windows Live key included with your digital or physical copy, then activate that key through Steam, with further instructions here.
