Creator of the BioShock franchise, Ken Levine, has been working on another game for a while now. The game has been a mystery, and we don’t know anything about it, but Levine said during GameLab 2020 that it is going to have “some weird shit”. No other information was revealed.
Levine made two of the best BioShock games, BioShock and BioShock Infinite, and they had some weird shit of their own. The first one was set in an underwater city and the other one was up in the clouds. We will love to see what Levine's next game will have to offer.
Levine also talked about the development process of the unannounced new game. He said that he had some very ridiculous ideas that were watered down and put in the game. According to him, the development team needs to come up with some weird ideas that might look absurd on the outside.
"If you don't have people saying that sounds a little insane, you haven't gone close enough to the edge," Levine said during the GameLab talk. "The great stuff exists on the edge of over the top and just OK. So sometimes you gotta push past that point and make something outrageous and ridiculous, and then pull it back but if you don't go to the outrageous and the ridiculous, you never know where that boundary is. You gotta sometimes go past it. You gotta go into the office and tell people things and they're going to look at you like you're insane. But then you sort of bring it back to something you can actually accomplish."
Today, 2K announced the founding of Cloud Chamber, its newest development studio. This team of storytellers has begun work on the next iteration of the acclaimed @BioShock franchise, which will be in development for the next several years.

While we are interested in Levine’s new game, we are more excited about the upcoming BioShock title. A few months back, 2K Games confirmed that their Cloud Chambers studio is working on a new BioShock game. No information about the game was revealed except the fact that it’s going to be in development for a couple of years.
