New Black Clover Anime Visual Brings Black Bulls Together

The new Black Clover anime comes to Japan this fall, and the series’ official website has released more casting reveals and a brand new visual that shows the key players of the upcoming Shonen anime.

According to Anime News Network , the website revealed the castings and designs of three minor characters who will play important roles in Asta’s journey to become the next Wizard King. Here are the latest castings for the Black Clover anime

Kazuki Nakao as Father

Miyu Kubota as Sister Lily

Ryota Ohsaka as Sekke Bronzazza

Accompanying the casting information is this great-looking visual showing Asta’s group, the Black Bulls, and gives fans a sense of how the series will look. For those that haven’t read the Black Clover manga, the Black Bulls are considered the worst among the other Wizard teams and are constantly ranked last and looked down on. That is, until Asta and the others join.

The Black Clover anime is coming in October. TV Tokyo

Casting for the major players in the Black Clover anime has already been revealed and the series will premiere in Japan Oct. 3, with Crunchyroll streaming the series in Japanese with English subtitles in October and Funimation providing a simul dub.

Here’s the synopsis of the series from Crunchyroll:

“In a world where magic is everything, Asta and Yuno are both found abandoned at a church on the same day. While Yuno is gifted with exceptional magical powers, Asta is the only one in this world without any. At the age of fifteen, both receive grimoires, magic books that amplify their holder's magic. Asta's is a rare Grimoire of Anti-Magic that negates and repels his opponent's spells. Being opposite but good rivals, Yuno and Asta are ready for the hardest of challenges to achieve their common dream: to be the Wizard King. Giving up is never an option!”
