The Breath of the Wild cucco location side quest is especially frustrating for new players. Known as The Flown the Coop side quest in Kakariko Village, players must search for 10 missing cuccos all over the village and return them to their owner’s coop.
Now, while this may not seem hard you’ll quickly find that locating the last one or two cucco locations are a huge chore to find. Luckily, we’re here to help and provide you with all of the information on the cuccos’ whereabouts.
When you enter Kakariko Village, you’ll meet a man named Cado. He’s one of the guards of the village and he is often found in front of the cucco’s coop near his house or in front of Impa’s place as a guard. If you’re facing the shrine in the center of town, Cado’s place will be to the left.
Speak to him and he’ll tell you a story about how his wife left him and all he has is his cuccos but all 10 of them have gotten loose around Kakariko Village. Round them all up and bring them to the coop and you’ll be rewarded with 50 rupees (which may not seem like much but in the early-game it’s pretty good).
There are seven cuccos running around the Village. Those are the easy ones to find, just walk around Kakariko until you find all seven. They don’t stay in one fixed spot but tend to be visible along the path.
There’s also one cucco that is in a vegetable patch that you can’t access until after 5pm. If you go over the gate, the lady tending to the garden will kick you out so keep that in mind.
One cucco is situated on the ledge overlooking the armor shop. Go up the path where you would go see the Great Fairy and you’ll come across this cucco.
The other two are located on the roofs of the buildings in the village. Not many players know that, but you’ll find them rather quickly. One is located in the building across where Cado’s coop is. There aren’t many houses in the village so climb up one and paraglide over to each home until you find them.
Once you find one, pick it up and carry it over to Cado’s coop and throw it over the gate.
GamersHeroes posted a video showing the location of all the cucco’s so be sure to check it out if you need a visual.
