A new leak for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 revealed some of the latest mainline entry's features, including multiplayer maps and menu screens.

The newest reveal for Activision's upcoming game was quickly hit with controversy as the studio immediately hit the screenshots with copyright claims. This added credence that they allegedly came from an in-development build of the title.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Leak

Despite the company's efforts, many online users are still able to post the images faster than Activision can take them down. While the maps of the latest games have already been removed, a leaker claims that they have partial titles.

Some of these could be familiar to many Call of Duty players and the leaker, who was using a throwaway account on X, formerly known as Twitter, said that they did not get any information or images for the game's single-player campaign or zombies mode, according to Eurogamer.

There were also some screenshots that hinted at a potential rework of the UI and menu system, but some believe that this was only because they came from an in-development build.

The situation comes after Activision banned more than 65,000 players across Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 over the weekend.

These purged thousands of players who were supposedly boosting and cheating from both Ranked and non-Ranked modes. This September, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will host a multiplayer open beta and players who are eligible for early access get an early start.

Various New Information

On top of the multiplayer maps and overhauled UI, the latest Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 leak includes a showcase of the game's perks and new movement known as "Omnimovement," said the Video Games Chronicle.

This comes as the game is set to launch on Oct. 25, 2024, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.

The first time that players were given any information about Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was towards the end of May 2024, when it was first teased. Within two weeks, it got an official reveal at Summer Game Fest 2024.

There were previous rumors of the game featuring a Gulf War theme and these proved to be true as the latest entry in the franchise is set in the 1990s.

Soon, players will also be able to hop into the game's open beta that starts on Friday, Sept. 6, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. EST / 1:00 p.m. PST / 6:00 p.m. BST, according to PCGamesN.
