Massive news for Call of Duty: Vanguard players about the upcoming update and its exciting new content. The Season 2 Reloaded update will bring a new 12v12 mode, new vehicles, new rewards, and Zombies changes. This update is scheduled for release on March 23.
Brand New 24-Player Mode Across the Alps
This new 24-player mode is called Arms Race, and it takes place in Task Force Yeti’s main area of operations. The objective here is to capture all bases to win.
Players can choose to respawn on any of the captured objectives and allies, making it easier to get the next objective. In this mode, players can easily snowball because of the captured advantages. So, don’t give away objectives without putting up a fight.
New Vehicles
Moving from one place to another on a huge map can be difficult. Don’t worry, the developers have added Motorcycles, CD12 Transport, and Tanks in the buy station.
Motorcycle
For players who don’t want to spend any money in-game, they can call in the Motorcycle. It’s a fast two-seater vehicle that can go through narrow passages. While it is fast, it lacks durability. These vehicles can easily be destroyed by rockets or even armor-piercing bullets.
CD12 Transport
This mode of transport is suited for a bigger squad, like a squad of four players. Unlike the motorcycle that can be acquired for free, the CD12 Transport costs a bit of money. So, buy it only if you want to get your team across objectives.
Tank
The tank is the strongest and most expensive vehicle available in the game. It comes with weapons attached and is more durable than the other two. The biggest drawback - it’s a one-man vehicle where the player has to control the driving and shooting, which can be quite difficult to manage.
Zombies
Zombies fans aren’t left out of this update, as the developers are adding two new abilities. The first ability is Critical Expertise which gives a chance for non-critical abilities to be fatal. The second ability is Explosive Expert, which grants additional damage using explosives and reduces the amount of damage taken from explosives. Unfortunately, the ability will not work on splash damage from the Ray Gun, which is one of the best wonder weapons in the game.
