Call of Duty: Warzone is getting a massive update coming on March 23. In this update, players can experience the reworked Rebirth Island and its many changes. Players can also try three new game modes that are following the Resurgence theme.
Rebirth Island Reinforced
The developers are making changes to the Rebirth Island, and it’s huge. This is going to be one of the biggest rework a map has received since game launch with the additions of two ships docked in the harbor, reworked Stronghold, updates to the prison yard, and a fresh-looking water tower.
The Security Area was one of the least interesting areas ever since Rebirth Island was introduced. All that changes, now with the introduction of the Stronghold. This area features two new structures supposed to define the meta for the upcoming update.
The first structure is an extended checkpoint gate with garages, an administrative building, and a walkway. This area will feature close-quarter combat, and players can expect to find a lot of supply boxes and items.
The second structure is a radar building. This building is slightly elevated, making it a perfect camping spot for snipers. This building gives a great view of Base Camp and Living Quarters to the northeast.
New Modes
The developers are introducing three new modes, which are the Resurgence Solos, Rebirth Payload, and Rebirth Blood Money.
Resurgence Solos
This mode allows players to fight in a fast-paced free-for-all deathmatch. Players will have their rebirth meter activated, but that does not mean they can take it easy. They have to play it carefully by earning kills, completing contracts, and waiting out the timers. After the circle has closed down, players will have to fight each other, and only the last man standing will leave the island.
Rebirth Payload
This is a team-based mode where players have to escort or stop trucks that are set to leave the island. It is 12v12 mode, so expect lots of action around the payload.
Rebirth Blood Money
In this mode, players have to collect all the money before the enemy team does. Players can get a big payout even if they kill others with less money, so this game mode is fast-paced. Players can take full advantage of this game mode to level up weapons fast.
