Attention recruits! Commandos 3 – HD Remaster is finally out and that means it's time to start infiltrating enemy lines. The game is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
The game is also set to be available physically through Commandos Double Pack, which is coming out on October 27. Pre-orders are now being accepted.
This revamped edition of Commandos 3 puts the tactical know-how of players to the test as they take history into their own hands. Players have access to a special forces unit composed of six iconic commandos that are all experts in their respective fields and necessary for the success of missions. The six commandos are Green Beret, Sapper, Sniper, Diver, Spy, and Thief.
There's a total of 12 missions spread out across the three frontlines of Central Europe, Normandy, and Stalingrad. To complete missions, players need to perfect their strategy and execute it flawlessly.
By the way, the game gives players that chance to experience the reworked 3D models and textures along with the improved controls and refined user interface. In addition to solo, players can also compete in Deathmatch or Collect the Flag modes for two to eight players.
Commandos 3 - HD Remaster is a remaster of Commandos 3: Destination Berlin, released in 2003. It is the third installment in the Commandos series. While the gameplay is similar to the previous games, one notable change is that Destination Berlin did not feature the Driver. There is also the addition of the assault rifle, a weapon less powerful than a rifle but considerably more powerful compared to a pistol. In addition, all units can now use weapons like the grenade. In the previous games, it was only the Sapper that had that ability.
