The cs_summit 7 matches between Cloud9 vs FURIA eSports have concluded. The matchup between the two teams was played in a best of three series.
Inferno was the first map of the series. FURIA played extremely well against the new Cloud9 roster and managed to get a 6-1 lead. However, after half-time, the game started heating up for both teams as they got close in terms of score. FURIA barely managed to win the first map with a 16-14 scoreline. If the game had overtime settings it could have been a victory for either team. Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato carried FURIA with 27 kills and an impressive 1.45 rating.
The second map played was Nuke that showed how Cloud9 dominated the game's first half with a 10-4 scoreline. Patrick "es3tag" Hansen carried Cloud9 in the first half with 14 kills. FURIA managed to get a couple of rounds in the second half. But Cloud9 looked really coordinated and was on point in terms of frags. Cloud9 won the second map with a 16-6 scoreline and every player had positive stats.
The decider map was Train that displayed a creative scene. Round 5 had a really creative counter to an AWP player on the ladder. Two players from FURIA jumped down the ladder and caused the AWPER to panic, which made him miss all his shots. It was one of those cool baits enough to break or make the game. FURIA won the final map with a 16-11 scoreline.
